We are a leading provider of fund, corporate, and investor services, renowned for our client-centric approach. 

Established in 2001, Aztec Group is an award-winning fund administrator, employing more than 2,300 people across the U.S., Channel Islands, Luxembourg, Ireland, and the UK.  

We specialise in alternative investments, administering more than €750 billion in assets across 1000+ funds for a range of clients, spanning the major asset classes including private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate and infrastructure. 

Through our capabilities across Europe and the U.S., we offer fund managers a seamless, cross-border partnership to support their operations. Rather than adopting a standard, process-driven approach led by business functions, we have dedicated client-centric and proactive teams who have expert operational knowledge and a clear understanding of clients’ day-to-day requirements. Our teams are supported by our Client Relationship Leads (CRLs) who act as the client’s single point of contact – so you know who to deal with on a day-to-day basis.

A stable and consistent team of people who really understand their client’s requirements is crucial – that’s why we continuously invest in our people and their training to ensure we maintain an industry-leading employee retention rate.

The quality of our services and dedication and commitment to clients continues to receive industry recognition. We’re proud to have won the much coveted Fund Advisory Award at the British Private Equity Awards a record-breaking eight times.

We manage more than €750 billion in AUA for 1000+ funds across a wide range of clients, from large institutions and mid-market firms to multi-national corporates. 

Our platforms, controls and processes are robust and consistent across all our offices. Adhering to international best practices, we are ISAE 3402 Type II accredited and ISO 27001:2013 certified.

We employ in-house lawyers and accountants who specialise in regulatory matters, including FATCA and CRS, enabling us to take a proactive approach to managing the impact of industry developments on our clients.

We adopt industry-leading systems such as eFront, Investran and Yardi with teams of specialists in place to tailor the technology to our clients’ specific requirements.

Our story

Aztec Group was founded in Jersey in 2001 with a handful of staff and a single client. Now employing over 2,300 people across six jurisdictions, our size and reach may have changed, but our client-centric ethos hasn’t. 

Our people are fundamental to our relationship-led approach. With a proven track record working with clients across the alternative funds industry, in the U.S. and around the world, our shared Aztec values unite us, shaping our culture and guiding how we act and work.  

Announced in September 2024, our strategic partnership with Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, supports Aztec’s long-term ambitions and the expansion of our client services, as we look to build on our strong European presence to become a global player in the U.S. market and beyond.
