We’re moderating at the LPGP Private Debt Europe Conference

Taking place in Berlin on 29 November, the LPGP Private Debt Conference brings together LPs and GPs from the global private credit market to look at the latest developments and market trends.

Now into its 7th year, we’ll be joining over 40 industry-leading speakers to discuss how the market is maturing and where the best opportunities can be found today and in the future.

Hana Prochaska, Head of Business Development, Europe at the Aztec Group, will be moderating two panel sessions, the first of which, ‘Portfolio monitoring and performance’, where she will be joined by Dr. Markus Geiger, Head of Private Debt and Managing Director at ODDO BHF Asset Management, Marc Pahlow, Founder and Managing Director at Rantum Capital, Fred Muller, Head of Fundraising at Dunport Capital and Marc Smid, Senior Portfolio Manager – Global Private Debt at Allianz Global Investors. This session will focus on the challenges portfolio companies are facing given the recent macro headwinds and how strategies can best navigate this economic uncertainty, whilst also exploring:

• What the challenges have been for portfolio companies given recent economic headwinds
• Which strategies have performed best and why
• How the growing digitalisation of portfolio administration and management is helping to provide greater transparency during periods of economic uncertainty?
• Opportunities from the crisis – what does it mean for portfolio construction, credit markets and emerging strategies.

The second session, called, ‘The evolving nature of real assets, infrastructure, and real estate‘, where she will be joined by Benjamin Walter, Director – Infrastructure Debt at Allianz Global Investors and Konstantin Schuster, Investment Director at Yielco Investments. This session will focus on how investors are approaching the blurring divide between real estate and infrastructure as the asset classes converge, whilst diving into:

• How emerging asset classes are changing how investors view the sector
• How the macro environment is pushing investors to diversify their allocation in private infrastructure and real estate credit which has a lower correlation and traditional asset classes
• What LPs expect from the different asset classes.
