Background and experience
Prior to joining the Group, Ross was the Head of Communications at independent oil and gas operator, Spirit Energy. Here, he led the team to deliver the internal communications and corporate affairs strategy.

- BA degree in Journalism from Glasgow Caledonian University
- Member of the Public Relations & Communications Association
Outside of the office
Ross enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and football, and listening to music. He is also a fan of science fiction films.
Starting his career as a journalist his experiences ranged from interviewing Prime Ministers and Presidents to spending a night shift with the Fire Service and finding out what it’s like to be “subdued” by a police dog.
He is also the proud owner of a Blue Peter badge after taking the children’s television show offshore to see what life is like on a North Sea oil rig.
