Background and experience
Following the introduction of the AIFMD in 2013, Dave was recruited to establish our depositary offering in the UK. Since then, he has gone on to play a pivotal role in the development of a Group-wide platform, drive numerous improvements and consistencies across the business, and secure new depositary relationships across all of the major assets classes in the UK, US and mainland Europe. Initially joining the Group as a Depositary Manager, Dave’s progress has seen him move through the ranks, culminating in his promotion to Group Head of Depositary Services in 2020, before becoming Group Head of Services in 2023.
Prior to joining the Group, Dave worked at PwC in a managerial role in their Government and Public Sector Assurance division. Having secured his first professional role with PwC through their Assurance Graduate Scheme upon leaving university, Dave spent more than nine years with the firm. During this time, he qualified as a chartered accountant and was also seconded to the project team responsible for handling tender negotiations for a multi-million audit framework contract.
Towards the end of his time at PwC, Dave headed up a number of external and internal audit engagements for a variety of clients, from fixed-term work with public health service organisations to smaller accounting advice projects.
