Group Head of Sustainability

Purpose

This new strategic role will contribute to the overall success of the Aztec Group through the leadership and delivery of sustainability services to our clients and driving the growth strategy of the team.

Reporting to a member of the Group Executive Committee, the individual will be a senior leader within the wider Group, with responsibility for leading internal sustainability operations, and, identifying and implementing new services and revenue streams.

The role will require the individual to shape priorities, approach and strategic direction in this exciting area

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading the overarching Sustainability Strategy for Aztec Group
  • Discuss ESG topics and sustainability initiatives with prospective and current clients
  • Express views on ESG trends through thought leadership pieces
  • Developing a data-driven ESG assessment process by setting up the ESG frameworks and processes with data providers
  • Development of ESG intellectual and thought leadership pieces including carbon foot printing methodology
  • Researching material ESG concerns relating to our clients
  • Supporting and developing tools for the effective integration of ESG analysis
  • Drive Climate and Environmental topics through internal committees with the aim, of becoming carbon neutral as an organization
  • Own the calculation of the carbon footprint of the business and drive the reductions of this through time, through review of suppliers, and approach to environmentally friendly options
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to enhance their sustainability knowledge and awareness ensuring that ESG factors are included in their corporate, investment and business ambitions for the future.

Day to Day Duties:

  • Develop and deliver our Sustainability product strategy into the marketplace to meet our clients needs 
  • Maximise product revenues
  • Ensure high quality service delivery
  • Manage and maximise client satisfaction
  • Internal Sustainability champion
  • Represent Aztec in relevant external groups 

Governance

  • Sustainability reporting
  • Participate in local jurisdictional leadership team meetings

Locations

Based in either Guernsey, Jersey, Luxembourg or UK.

  • You’ll have considerable Sustainability/ ESG knowledge and experience

  • You have experience in the leading the design and implementation of technology based solutions that drive exceptional client service, excellent user experience and deliver operational efficiencies.
