Background and experience
Before joining the Group in 2020, Adrian spent five years at HSBC, where he held a number of senior positions including Head of UK Asset Management Audit. There, he had overall responsibility for all asset management audit activities in the UK. Adrian has a particular focus on collaboration, team development, and a commitment to quality.
Adrian started his career at PwC in London, where he spent ten years in the Banking and Capital Markets audit division rising to Senior Manager, where he led the design and delivery of several large and complex multi-location audit engagements. There, he was also responsible for the planning, risk assessment and scoping for a global investment bank, including coordinating and directing work on multiple business units in a variety of international locations. Adrian completed a three year international secondment to PwC New York which furthered his awareness of different working practices and regulatory environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter
- Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland)
Outside of the office
Adrian loves to travel, taking every opportunity to explore new countries and experience different cultures and activities across the globe. He has a passion for football, although increasingly that’s watching rather than playing these days! He also enjoys going to restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
