Background and experience
Appointed Director in 2020, Daryl joined the Group in 2016. During his time with the company, he has assumed senior client relationship roles for a diverse portfolio of clients and has led a number of Group-wide client development initiatives. He also sits on several client boards and is recognised for his expertise in high-value M&A transactions, fund structuring and the administration of sophisticated investment vehicles.
Daryl has extensive experience supporting private equity structures from establishment through to exit, including investor onboarding, governance, acquisitions, disposals, refinancing transactions and fund wind-downs. He works closely with fund managers, investors, lenders and advisers on complex cross-border transactions, helping clients navigate operational, governance and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the Group, Daryl spent seven years with PwC, where he delivered audit and advisory services to large financial institutions. During this time, he gained significant multi-jurisdictional experience through roles in Guernsey, Jersey and London.
Qualifications
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales (ICAEW Qualified).
- Bachelor’s degree in French and German from the University of Exeter.
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Daryl enjoys cooking, water sports and travelling. He also values spending time with his friends, wife and son, Hugo.
