Background and experience
Previously, Gavin spent eight years as Chief Financial Officer at Ipes. As a member of the Ipes board, he played an active role in developing the company’s finance strategy, leading the financial modelling for all of their regulatory Group applications, product launches and budgets.
Prior to Ipes, Gavin worked as Technical Director for Porton Capital. During his five-year tenure there, he focused primarily on portfolio companies, and spent significant periods of time based in both Hong Kong and Dubai, where he set up and managed a new office.
Gavin’s first professional role was as an Associate with PwC in London; a job he was offered shortly after graduating from university.
Qualifications
- Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (chartered accountant).
- Honour’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.
Outside of the office
Outside of work Gavin enjoys golf, boating and spending time with his family.
