Background and experience
Marcia brings extensive experience in client leadership and business development across the Americas and Europe. Prior to joining Aztec Group, Marcia served as Senior Managing Director, Head of Business Development and Client Relations at FundBank, N.A. She previously spent four years at State Street as Senior Vice President, Head of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Throughout her career, Marcia has built trusted client relationships, overseen commercial strategy, and navigated complex cross-border opportunities. She is actively involved with leading industry associations, including 100 Women in Finance, ALFI, the Luxembourg American Chamber of Commerce, the Hedge Fund Association, LAVCA, the European American Chamber of Commerce in New York, ALPFA, and ANBIMA.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Brazil
- MBA – Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business
Outside of the office
Born in Brazil, Marcia has served as an Alumni Board Member for Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business and as a board member of the Duke University Hispanic and Latino Alumni Association (DUHLAA). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, anything Peloton, triathlons and she is also a bit of an aviation geek.
