Background and experience
Rylee joined the Group in 2011 as a Senior Financial Reporting Manager in Luxembourg. In this role, he headed the accounting function in Luxembourg, as well as co-managing the office. After two years, Rylee took on the role of Chief Risk Officer, where he became the strategic lead for our Risk, Compliance, AML and Internal Audit teams. Rylee is also a member of both the Group’s Operational Committee and the Information Security Forum, which work to improve our operational framework and information security capabilities.
Rylee also oversaw the development of Aztec Verify, which uses best-in-class technology to minimise the administrative burden, reducing manual processes and enables us to streamline the onboarding process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance, Accounting and Information Systems
- Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Outside of the office
Rylee is a keen skier, and his hobbies include thinking about skiing, planning ski trips and skiing. He also enjoys watching rugby, both professionally and whenever his son plays. Most of his time outside of the office is spent with his family, primarily in the role of taxi driver for his children.
