Background and experience.
Promoted to Head of Regulatory Control in 2025, Angel Ramon joined Aztec in 2023 as Senior Regulatory Change Manager, setting up the new Regulatory Change team. He brought to the Group his extensive regulatory expertise acquired during his previous role working at the Investment Funds Unit of the Luxembourgish financial regulator (CSSF).
Prior to that, he had acquired a broad fund administration experience at State Street, where he delivered fund administration services for a portfolio of top international asset managers and was responsible for the set-up of new teams in offshore locations.
The combination of both his regulatory and outsourcing expertise, and project management and fund administration background, provide Angel Ramon with a pragmatic and operational approach to the regulatory change and outsourcing journeys.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in European Law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distanica
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
Outside of the office
Angel Ramon likes to spend his free time with family and friends. He also enjoys travelling to new places, exploring new cultures and is passionate about politics.
