Emily Sturgess,
Head of Operations and Insights, Client and Market Development


Emily leads the Operational strategy for our Global Client and Marketing Development Team, driving operational efficiency and developing our marketing and business development capabilities. In addition, Emily is responsible for the Group’s Voice of Customer Programme, ensuring effective feedback loop management.

A member of our Operations Executive Committee,  Emily contributes to the ongoing development of our operating model, ensuring that Client Experience is at the heart of our decision making process.

Background and experience

Emily originally joined the Group in 2010 in our Jersey office. After spending more than five years heading up the administration teams for numerous private equity, venture capital and debt funds, she was seconded to Sweden to head up our Fund Services offering in the Nordic region.

Emily returned to Jersey in 2018. In 2019, she was responsible for establishing our Operational Resilience team, focused on the ongoing development and oversight of the Group’s operating controls and responsible for our internal control environment, quality assurance, business continuity planning and supplier oversight.

Emily started her career at 1998 at EY, and before entering the fund services industry, she spent over ten years providing wealth structuring services to private clients and high net worth individual at two Global Banks.

Outside of the office

When she’s not striving to ensure that our Clients get the best Client Experience, Emily enjoys cooking and soaking up the scenic views of Jersey’s coast on a long cliff path walk.
