Eva Devine,
Group Head of Depositary Services

Eva leads our Depositary team in Luxembourg, with overall responsibility for day-to-day depositary operations, client relationship management, controls, processes and reporting procedures. In this role, she manages the compliance of policies, system enhancements and process improvements, overseeing implementation and change across the team.

As a member of the Group’s Depositary leadership team, Eva is heavily involved in our business development efforts, including promotional activities and overseeing all client proposals and migrations for the depositary business in Luxembourg.

Background and experience

Eva joined the Group in 2020 with over 18 years’ experience in fund services behind her, with a specialist focus on alternative investments, and became Group Head of Depositary Services in 2023.

With a career spanning both Ireland and Luxembourg. Eva previously spent eight years with PNC and Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM), establishing PNC’s depositary services in Luxembourg before PNC was acquired by BNYM. In 2015, she joined Deutsche Bank as their Head of Depositary Services in Luxembourg, transitioning to Apex Group as the Luxembourg Head of Depositary and Custody Services following the successful sale and migration of the Deutsche Bank Alternative Fund Services business.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in Banking and Finance from Luxembourg University.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Languages specialising in Finance and French from Dublin City University.

Outside of the office

Eva spends most of her free time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys travelling with her family and immersing herself in different cultures across the globe.
