Background and Experience
Prior to working at Aztec, Gabriele was a legal manager for two large real estate asset management companies in Beijing. His responsibilities included designing corporate and legal structures, conducting legal negotiations, managing teams, and coordinating legal operations across the EU, U.S., and Asia.
A ground-breaking project he was part of was a real estate tokenisation, using blockchain technology. This project involved a secondment in New York, and was the first tokenisation project of a NYSE publicly listed company.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Law from the University of Catania, Italy.
- LL.Ms in International Business Law from Tilburg University, Netherlands
- LL.Ms in International Law from China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing.
Outside of the office
Gabriele enjoys travelling, having lived, worked and studied in multiple countries, including Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, China, the U.S., and, currently, Luxembourg. He has travelled extensively in central and far-east Asia and enjoys learning about local cultures, cuisine, and history.
Gabriele is a big music fun, especially rock music, and likes attending concerts. Gabriele also loves reading books, particularly autobiographies and classic European literature. To stay physically fit, Gabriele goes to the gym and enjoys Thai boxing.
