Background and experience
Before joining Aztec, Gaëtan served as the Global Tax and Statutory Accounting Product Lead at Vistra Group, where he focused on strategically improving their Tax and Statutory Accounting products with clients in need through quality, efficiency, and digitisation. Prior to that, he was the European Head of Tax and Regulatory and part of the Luxembourg Management Team at Vistra Group.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Management from EPHEC (Belgium)
- Specialisation in Taxation accredited by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce
- CPD certified education in Business Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science
- A Luxembourg Chartered Accountant
Outside of the Office
He is an avid CrossFit enthusiast, training 6 times a week and competing when he can. He also helps with organising and delivering donations of toys and food for those less fortunate, which resonates a lot with the values he strives to pass on to his two sons. Bridging his professional and personal interests, he serves as a jury member for thesis oral defences in accounting bachelors at a well-known higher education institution in the region and is Co-Chair of the Tax Committee of the Luxembourg Fund Administrator Association (L3A).
