Prior to becoming Jurisdictional Head of Private Equity, Gordon used to head up our corporate services offering in Guernsey, and had overall responsibility for all related operational, relationship management and business development activities. Day-to-day, he oversaw the provision of a range of outsourcing solutions to a diverse portfolio of structures, including co-investment vehicles, holding companies, management incentive structures and listed vehicles.

He is also heavily involved in the ongoing development of the Group’s product and service offerings, as well as the Group’s overall value proposition.

Background and experience

Joining the Group in 2016, Gordon was recruited to continue the growth of our corporate services team in Guernsey. Before this, Gordon spent just over two years as Finance Director at Apax Partners in Guernsey, where he led the finance and reporting function for the regulated Apax funds and related investment structures. He also sat on the boards of the regulated general partner companies, with over €30 billion of assets under management, and was actively involved in all investment decisions at general partner level.

Originally from the UK, Gordon moved to Guernsey in 2007 to accept the job of COO for the global private equity fund administration business of Schroders, following a nine-year tenure as Head of Finance for their Bermuda division. He then held a number of other senior positions in Guernsey, including Senior Product Manager for J.P. Morgan’s private equity and real estate services business.
