Background and Experience
Prior to joining Aztec Group, Martina spent nearly eight years as senior relationship and business development manager at BIL Manage Invest, a Luxembourg-based ManCo and AIFM that is now part of Waystone. Before that, she worked for more than 12 years as a relationship manager at European Fund Administration (EFA), now part of Universal Investment, in Luxembourg.
Across her previous roles, Martina gained broad experience in the Luxembourg fund industry, spanning business development, client relationship management, fund operations, AML, governance, distribution, and AIFM and ManCo activities. She has worked with both alternative and liquid investment strategies and supported clients from across Europe throughout the fund lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Martina completed vocational training as a bank clerk and as a foreign-language correspondent. She has also completed executive education courses at Emlyon Business School and INSEAD.
- Martina is a member of Fondsfrauen and the LPEA’s PE4W (Private Equity for Women) club.
Outside of the office
Martina has been playing table tennis competitively for more than 30 years and is a passionate cyclist, she also enjoys travelling around the world and continuing to develop her saxophone skills. As a dedicated foodie, she dreams of becoming a sommelier one day. Martina is also a volunteer board member of DJK Schiffweiler.
