Background and experience
Nicola joined the Aztec Group in the summer of 2020 as an Associate Director and having shaped a number of client relationships and having significant involvement in shaping strategy for our people and team development, was promoted to Director in summer 2023.
Nicola has an in-depth understanding of the real estate market and with a focus on corporate governance and has managed complex multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions. Before joining the group, Nicola led a team of real estate fund administrators for six years and prior to this, Nicola managed a portfolio of private clients and acted as company secretary for numerous client boards. She started her career in performance and reward management, spending eight years in this sector. She also held an honorary position as Trustee and Secretary for the mental health charity, Mind Jersey for a period of six years ending in November 2021.
Qualifications
- Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
- Estate Practitioner with The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh.
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Nicola is a mum to a very active 11-year-old son. At the weekends, when she is not facilitating his hectic social life, her social life consists of gym, holidays and visiting her family in Ireland as often as possible.
