Background and experience
Promoted to Associate Director in 2021, Salman was previously a Senior Financial Reporting Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of private credit fund structures. His focus on his team’s professional development and outstanding operational delivery along with his involvement in business development initiatives has been instrumental in the development of our private credit offering.
Before joining the Aztec Group, Salman worked at TMF Group, specialising in private equity and real estate funds. Prior to that, Salman was working as an external auditor in KPMG, EY and PWC in different jurisdictions, leading audit engagements, assisting clients on issues to IFRS and in the conversion process from different GAAPs to IFRS, drawing on his intimate knowledge of financial reporting standards.
Salman brings experience from different sectors, spanning private credit, real estate, private equity, commercial, telecom and service industries.
Qualifications
- Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- BSc Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University
- Bachelor in Economics from the University of Peshawar

Salman has a passion for cricket and exploring the world. He enjoys good food and spending time with friends and family.
