Background and experience
Prior to joining Aztec, Johanna’s previous experience has been in fund administration, construction engineering, and the built environment. Her previous role involved the creation and implementation of ESG-related products on UK and EU sustainability regulations. Her work also covered topics such as diversity and impact.
Johanna is particularly interested in understanding how women’s public and work spaces can be improved to enhance equality, and how policy can be used to shape better decision-making for the future. She has a Master’s in Public Administration where she collaborated with the Royal Academy of Engineering to research women’s safety in public with a particular focus on domestic workers and bus infrastructure in London. The findings contributed to a universal toolkit of gendered solutions in policy, design, and practice.
